The readability was not too bad, though there were a lot of abbreviations to keep up with throughout the entire article.

This article first explains anxiety disorders and sensory over-responsivity. It then proposes two models in which each disorder is either a factor or responsible for the other. Throughout the article they focus on children with autism for the disorders.

Hippocampus activation- part of the brain dealing with memory

Amygdala Abnormalities- lobes in the brain that deal with “fight or flight”

Hypervigilance- always being “on guard”

The weakness was all the abbreviations

The strengths were the diagrams and the conclusion did great summing up the ideas.

It helps to understand anxiety orders and it branches out a whole new area of what they can cause.
